"Out of Office" E-mail message
 
We now have an "Out of Office" E-mail message that can be sent to people who E-mail you, warning them that you are on vacation. To announce that you will be away, send E-mail to: vacation@mx.mastewart.com with the subject beginning: away. To announce your return to work, similarly send E-mail with a subject of: back. If your subject line starts with anything else, it will not work.
After you have sent your 'away' message, when someone sends you an E-mail, it will be sent to your Inbox exactly if you were in the office. A message will be sent to the sender of the E-mail reading:
"I will be away from the office <date> Your mail concerning <SUBJECT> will be read when I return."

You must include additional information in the main body of your E-mail such as in the example below. This information must include a contact name, E-mail address, and telephone number of the person who will be looking after your duties while you are away. The information included in the main body of your E-mail will be forwarded to all of the people who send you E-mail while you are away.
When you return, send mail to vacation@mx.mastewart.com with a subject of: back and the out of office message will be removed from your mailbox.
