Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results driven Inside Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industrial & commercial valves, hydronic systems, waterworks, fittings and actuation systems and have the ability to provide technical support to our clients. This role requires excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to sales and customer service.

The position will be part of a strong regional team responsible for the continued growth and success of M. A. Stewart & Sons Ltd. through the Ajax office, Industrial and Commercial Quotations Department.

 

The qualified individual will have the proven ability to set and achieve long range goals and to succeed within a cooperative group environment.  In servicing the Industrial, Process, Oil & Gas, Refining and Commercial Construction markets you will develop mutually beneficial internal and external customer relationships through new and existing business contacts.

Your primary goal will be to develop and foster the acceptance of the MAS brands among end-users, contractors, fabricators, and distribution customers.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Handle inbound sales inquiries via phone, email, and online chat.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new potential customers.
  • Provide technical support based on customer requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver quotations, process orders, and follow up on sales leads.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, product knowledge, and competitive landscape.
  • Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and trade shows as required.

Education

A relevant degree or 3-5 years of experience in the PVF industry, preferably in a related or a background in Industrial or Commercial valves.
