In 1988, M.A. Stewart & Sons Ltd. entered into a 50% Joint Venture Agreement (JVA) with a Taiwan based valve manufacturer to produce the MAS brand valve solely for M.A. Stewart & Sons Ltd. group of companies. In 2005, the company moved its operations from Taiwan and is currently manufacturing all products in Fuzhou, China.
